In 2008, Josh begun immersing himself in the world of film and video, an intrigue into an art form that would soon engulf him into the wonder of visual storytelling. Graduated from the cinematography program at Columbia College in Chicago, he has been lighting and shooting his way through a number of short length films. Now based in Atlanta, he divides his time on set between measuring foot-candles and composing images tailored to effectively communicating the story. When working as a cinematographer, his skills are best utilized when he can freely express his creativity in a synergetic, collaborative atmosphere. He is a careful, safe and efficient worker with a refreshing light hearted sense of humor. Ready to travel wherever work will take him, Josh has worked in every position in the camera, grip and electrical departments and has a pragmatic perspective on what it takes to execute, no matter the limitations.
