Day 1: One of the Hardest

I’m sure I’ll come up with wittier titles as time goes on but this is day one!

Hi! My name is Brianna and I’m the new and FIRST (bragging moment) intern for The 365 Project. I first became involved with The 365 Project as a crew member for Bridgette’s one woman show for the Classic City Fringe Festival and Bridgette really sold me on how great The 365 Project can become. So because I fell completely in love with the idea, I was very excited when she offered an intern role with the project. I think The 365 Project has soooo much potential to become something great and I’m super excited to be a part of it. Now the question is how do we make The 365 Project great? Well, I have some ideas. But I’m not going to tell you what they are just yet because then you’ll have no reason to keep coming back.

To keep the 365 spirit alive, I’ve decided to do my own 365 project about the internship. So my internship will be writing a blog about the internship. How meta. Kind of? I don’t know. But the whole idea of doing a 365 project is intimidating! You’re doing something for 365 days (thank goodness it’s not a leap year)! The only thing I’ve done for 365 days is living and sometimes it’s only by the bare definition of the word.

The whole idea of committing to a project this big is daunting to say the least. I wasn’t always like this but I’ve developed such a fear of failing that I’m afraid of starting which is why this post is probably going to be one of the hardest. But this is the beginning. The start of a brand new journey. “The year of getting back to me” if you will ;). Join me on this journey as I share my experiences in being a 365 intern and see not only how The 365 Project grows but how I grow as well.

What did I do for 365 today? I started this blog! 🙂
